The No. 12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish head to Death Valley to take on the Clemson Tigers in Week 10. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET on Saturday, November 4.
Notre Dame (7-2) grabbed a dominant win over Pittsburgh last week, finishing with four interceptions in a 58-7 victory. They will be playing without tight end Mitchell Evans, who has been one of their top receiving options, for the remainder of the year. The Irish delivered a beatdown to the USC Trojans before the Pitt win, bouncing back from losses to Louisville and OSU. Keep an eye out for Benjamin Morrison this game, who intercepted Cade Klubnik twice in last year’s matchup between these two teams.
Clemson (4-4, 2-4 ACC) has continued to struggle, dropping to .500 after a 24-17 loss to NC State last week. Quarterback Cade Klubnik threw two interceptions and no touchdowns in the loss. The Tigers’ defense was solid, but couldn’t make up for the struggles on offense. Leading rusher Will Shipley is questionable for the weekend with a head injury.

Our Best Bet for Notre Dame vs. Clemson
Notre Dame -3
The Irish had Clemson’s number last season, and return several of the key pieces from that blowout in South Bend. Both teams’ defenses will be the highlights of their performances this weekend, but I think Sam Hartman can outplay Cade Klubnik when it comes down to it. The Irish should be feeling confident and comfortable after the Pitt win, while Clemson may be in panic mode.
