We go over some of the best betting options for Thursday’s matchup between the Pacers and Heat.

Tonight’s NBA schedule will feature the Indiana Pacers heading south for the first of back-to-back games against the Miami Heat. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will air on NBATV.

Indiana (9-7) is back in action after falling to the Trail Blazers 114-110 on Monday. Tyrese Haliburton dropped 33 points and nine assists as the Pacers couldn’t quite catch back up in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, Miami (10-8) is on a three-game losing streak and came up on the short end of a 131-124 result against the Bucks Tuesday. Milwaukee took the lead in the fourth quarter and closed the Heat out on a 9-4 run to end the game.

On the injury front, Jimmy Butler (ankle) missed Tuesday’s game and is questionable for tonight’s contest. Both Bam Adebayo (hip) and Duncan Robinson (thumb) are both listed as probable. For Indiana, TJ McConnell (hamstring) is listed as questionable.

Miami enters the game as a 2-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 238. The Heat enter the game as a -130 moneyline favorite, making the Pacers a +110 underdog.

Pacers vs. Heat, 7:30 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Pacers +2

Miami has underperformed at home with a 1-5 home record against the spread this season. The typical early-season injuries with the Heat are beginning to pile up and even if Butler returns tonight, he won’t be 100%. I trust Indiana to get the job done in this first game of a back-to-back, so I’ll take the Pacers to cover.

Over/Under: Over 238

Indiana is the most over-friendly team in the league at 14-2 this season and I’ll stick with that for this evening. I think Haliburton and company will force Miami into a track meet and we’ll see this over cash easily.
