We break down the fantasy football outlook of Jake Ferguson ahead of the Seahawks Week 13 matchup against the Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson has made a name for himself this season as a solid safety valve for Dak Prescott in the passing game. How much will Prescott look his way in an expected tight Thursday night battle against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson

Ferguson had just one catch for 35 yards last Thursday against the Washington Commanders. It was well under his average for the season.

Ferguson is a START

He didn’t have a lot of looks last week, but the Commanders secondary was so bad that Prescott felt comfortable going deep. Seattle is much better on the back end and that will likely give Ferguson opportunities in the underneath passing game. Ferguson feels like a mid-lower end TE1 this week.

Ferguson is a START

In the four weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, Ferguson was averaging 4.5 catches for 49 yards and found the end zone three times. It’s worth taking a flyer on Ferguson with the hopes can get back in the end zone for the fourth time over the past six games.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Jake Ferguson

There are two options I like better. Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku against the Los Angeles Rams, even with the Browns’ QB issues, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Cade Otton against the Carolina Panthers. Otton is averaging four catches for more than 40 yards in his past five games.
