Week 13 is here which means the fantasy playoffs are right around the corner. That said, there are six teams on bye this week, which means there are plenty of teams across the country looking for another option at quarterback. Here are some favorable matchups to consider when building your lineup this week.

Fantasy football, Week 13: Best QB Matchups

Tua Tagovailoa vs. Washington Commanders

Tagovailoa gets a mouth-watering matchup his week against a Commanders defense that’s allowed a league-leading 3,175 passing yards this season. The Commanders allowed 331 yards and four touchdowns to Dak Prescott last week (and then promptly fired defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio), and they should once again struggle to defend the pass against Miami’s electric defense.

Baker Mayfield vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mayfield’s a must-start this week so long as he recovers from his ankle injury in time. He tossed two touchdowns last week against the Saints and is going against a Panthers team that just fired head coach Frank Reich. Mayfield’s been pretty efficient with the ball this year (he’s only thrown seven interceptions), and I’m expecting him to be surgical against the Panthers' defense.

Trevor Lawrence vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals allowed 400+ yards of offense to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week thanks to a steady stream of downfield passes, which should be the blueprint that the Jaguars use on Sunday. The Bengals' defense should spend plenty of time on the field thanks to its offensive ineptitude, so it’ll only be a matter of time until Lawrence breaks through.
