Following a seventh-place finish in the Maui Invitational, the Syracuse Orange return home on Tuesday to face the LSU Tigers in the ACC/SEC Challenge.

LSU Tigers vs. Syracuse Orange (-1.5, 150.5)

Both teams enter with a pair of losses with the root of the reason that LSU has lost twice this season being the facilitation of the offense.

Tulane transfer Jalen Cook was likely to be one of not the main ball handler for LSU, and due to him not receiving a waiver to be eligible to play due to being a non-graduate player that is transferring for a second time, has yet to be cleared to play by the NCAA.

This has led to no single player on LSU averaging more than two assists per game and as a whole, the team is 285th in the country in assists to turnover-to-turnover ratio.

The Syracuse offense has been more fluid with their overall offensive set with Judah Mintz and JJ Starling combining for 8.2 assists per game, but the team has struggled to make outside shots.

Excluding games against non-Division I opponents, Syracuse is 337th in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage, but gets an opportunity to improve that mark against an LSU defense that is 261st in America in opponent 3-point shooting percentage.

With LSU’s issues at the guard position without Cook coupled with their perimeter defense having holes, Syracuse will rebound from a pair of losses in Maui with a win on Tuesday.

The Play: Syracuse -1.5
