The fantasy football playoffs are right around the corner. The kicker position is probably the most overlooked position in fantasy football. They played a major role in the finishes of close games. A lot of people use new kickers weekly as they pick up whoever they like for the best matchup.
Below we take a look at the best kicker pickups on the fantasy football waiver wire for Week 13.
Fantasy football waiver wire: Kicker pickups for Week 13
Jason Sanders, Miami Dolphins
Sanders is a guy that many people had on their fantasy teams through the first few weeks of the season, but dropped to the waiver wire with his inconsistent play. He’s looked great over the past few weeks. Sanders has drilled two field goals in each of the last two weeks and two and four extra points this week as well. In Week 13, Sanders will match up with the Washington Commanders. The Dolphins should score a ton of points.
Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers
In the past few seasons, Boswell has been one of the most reliable kickers in the NFL. He’s drilled nine field goals over the last four weeks and six extra points. He hasn't missed any kicks in that time frame either. The Steelers face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13 and they allow a ton of points.
Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos
It’s shocking that Lutz is one of the lowest-rostered kickers in fantasy football. The Broncos offense has finally found themselves and that means they're scoring points. Since Week 7, Lutz is 16 for 17 in four games. Everybody saw his struggles against the Buffalo Bills on national television and immediately refused to add him, but he's been great. This is also a team that now has a shot at making the playoffs. I would expect to see him get continued opportunities at field goals over the next few weeks. The Broncos matchup with the Houston Texans in Week 13, so there should be a ton of points scored.
