We go over some of the best betting options for Tuesday’s matchup between the Hawks and Cavaliers.

Two teams still fighting to stay alive in the NBA In-Season Tournament will face off tonight as the Atlanta Hawks (8-8) pay a visit to the Cleveland Cavaliers (9-8) in East Group A action. It’s the final game of the group stage for both sides with the Cavs in second place with a 2-1 record while the Hawks are in fourth at 1-2.

Cleveland come into this match as 4-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, priced at -180 on the moneyline. The Hawks are set at +150 with the point total at 237.

Hawks vs. Cavaliers, 7:30 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Hawks +4

The Hawks have a huge mountain to climb if they want a shot at the wildcard spot from the Eastern Conference, while the Cavs find themselves in a much better position to advance to the knockouts. Atlanta have won two of its last three outings, but have only covered the spread once in its last six. However, the Hawks have been playing well as of late, especially on the road as they look to upset the Cavs at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Cleveland have lost two of its last three games at home and haven’t fared as well on the glass as the Hawks. The Cavs could easily struggle against a well-oiled Atlanta offense, leading the visitors to end up being able to cover the spread regardless of who gets the win straight up.

Over/Under: Under 237

While there’s no doubt it’ll be an exciting end to the group stage for both teams, I’m not expecting either side to give up enough points to hit over on this high of a point total in a tournament game. Both teams are coming off streaks that saw them hit the over a handful of times in a row, but I’m expecting this one to finish under with so much on the line for both sides.
