With just five games on Monday’s NBA slate, finding value adds for your DFS lineup might be more difficult. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Norman Powell, Clippers, $4,800
Powell had a rough showing against the Spurs, largely because he exited early due to an injury. The combo wing was ultimately able to come back without missing a game, and has averaged 25.05 DKFP per game over the last two. The Nuggets have been solid against opposing wing players but are coming off a game Sunday night and could show some fatigue. Powell should have a decent game here.
Obi Toppin, Pacers, $5,000
After three strong games, Toppin’s price point has gone up. The forward has been a beneficiary of Indian’s high-powered offense, averaging 27.63 DKFP per game over the last three contests. If he continues to see big minutes, he’ll be a great addition to your lineup. The Trail Blazers don’t offer much resistance defensively, ranking 23rd in fantasy points allowed to opposing frontcourt players.
Marvin Bagley, Pistons, $4,700
The Detroit center doesn’t get consistent playing time, which makes him a risky option for DFS lineups. However, he is a force when he does see decent minutes and there’s a good possibility of that against the Wizards. Bagley is averaging 20.5 DKFP per game this season, and Washington ranks 27th in fantasy points allowed to opposing bigs. This is a matchup worth rostering Bagley for.
