The Chicago Bears (3-8) and Minnesota Vikings (6-5) close out Week 12 with a Monday Night matchup in Minnesota. Here’s what to know about how to the game conditions could impact play.

Weather needs to be extreme to truly impact games, but when deciding between two players who you like equally, it might be a helpful tie breaker. What we really don’t want to see is 20 mph or higher wind speeds. Rain can cause problems, but unless it is a combination of high winds and rain, we usually don’t want to downgrade our fantasy football players too much.

Helpful weather resources include National Weather Service and Accuweather, among others.

While it’ll be 24 degrees and windy in Minnesota on Monday night, the Vikings play in a dome at U.S. Bank Stadium, so the weather won’t be a factor on Monday night.

Fantasy/betting implications

Both of these offenses will be able to operate without any impediment from Mother Nature, but that doesn’t automatically mean there’s going to be a bump in scoring. While the O/U is set at 44, these two teams combined for just 32 points earlier this season on a sunny day in October.
