The Phoenix Suns will look to keep their winning ways going when they face the New York Knicks Sunday evening at Madison Square Garden. The Suns have triumphed in six straight contests to get back near the top of the Western Conference, winning their last game without the services of Kevin Durant. The star forward is dealing with a foot injury. Here’s the latest on his status for Sunday’s game.

Kevin Durant injury updates

Update: Durant has been ruled out for Sunday’s game, so he’s going to give his foot another few days to get better. Booker, Eric Gordon and Jusuf Nurkic will be the focal points offensively for Phoenix.

Durant is officially listed is questionable for Sunday’s contest. We’ll see if playing at the Garden motivates him to come back, as it is usually a favorite venue for players to show out. It does seem like Durant was sat Friday for precautionary reasons, but we’ll know more about the extent of his foot injury based on his availability for this game.

If Durant sits out, Devin Booker will remain the lead initiator in this offense. Jusuf Nurkic, Eric Gordon and Grayson Allen will all see some additional touches, but Booker is the best option for fantasy/DFS lineups.
