There’s seven games on Sunday’s main NBA slate for DFS contests, which means there’s a good amount of options when it comes to finding value plays. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Dorian Finney-Smith, Nets, $4,700
The combo big has averaged 22.9 DKFP per game, sneakily becoming a solid value add in lineups. Finney-Smith gets to face a Bulls team that can’t defend or rebound, which is usually a winning combination for a player with his skillset. Chicago ranks 23rd in fantasy points allowed to bigs this season, setting Finney-Smith up for a strong showing Sunday.
Craig Porter Jr., Cavaliers, $5,000
The guard had a bit of a clunker Saturday against the Lakers, putting up just 13.8 DKFP in 17 minutes of action. Prior to that performance, Porter Jr. was averaging 31.15 DKFP across four games. With the Cavaliers potentially missing one or both of Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell for Sunday’s game, Porter Jr. is worth backing at this price point.
Christian Braun, Nuggets, $4,600
Braun is unlikely to pop off for a big score, but he’s putting up some consistent fantasy numbers of late. The Nuggets wing has averaged 24.28 DKFP in the last five games, but that includes a rough game Friday against the Rockets where he only put up 10.8 DKFP. The Spurs are a great matchup, ranking 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wings this season.
