The 2023 SEC Championship Game is set for next Saturday as the Alabama Crimson Tide will meet the Georgia Bulldogs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The game will kick off at 4 p.m. ET and will air on CBS.
Alabama (11-1, 8-0 SEC) survived an upset bid in the Iron Bowl on Saturday, pulling victory from the jaws of defeat in a 27-24 win over Auburn. Facing 4th and goal on the 31 in the final minute, Jalen Milroe heaved up a prayer and it was caught by Isaiah Bond for the game-winning touchdown.
Georgia (11-0, 8-0 SEC) has yet to play Georgia Tech in their rivalry game as of this writing, but has had its spot in the league title game clinched for a few weeks now. The Dawgs are closing in on their third straight College Football Playoff appearance, where they will try to become the first college football program to three-peat since the 1930’s.
