SMU vs. Tulane odds heading into American Athletic Conference Championship Game

The Mustangs will visit the Green Wave for the AAC title game next Saturday.

The 2023 AAC Championship Game is set for next Saturday as the SMU Mustangs will meet the Tulane Green Wave at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans. The game will kick off at 4 p.m. ET and will air on ABC.

SMU (10-2, 8-0 AAC) clinched a spot in the title game by obliterating Navy 59-14 on Saturday. That’s the good news. The bad news is that starting quarterback Preston Stone suffered a brutal leg injury and had to be carted off to the locker room in the second quarter. Assuming that Stone is done for the year, backup Kevin Jennings will be tasked with leading the Ponies next Saturday.

Tulane (11-1, 8-0 AAC) officially clinched hosting duties for the title game by downing UTSA in a 29-16 victory on Friday. Makhi Hughes did the heavy lifting for the offense with 166 yards and a touchdown. A win next Saturday would clinch back-to-back AAC titles for the Green Wave, as well as a second straight trip to a New Year’s Six bowl game.

While the odds below aren’t official and do not come from DraftKings Sportsbook, they’re our best guess here at DK Network as to where the line should open across the market.
