The Los Angeles Clippers will complete the second game of a back-to-back set Saturday when they face the Dallas Mavericks. These two franchises have had some intense battles over the last few seasons, including some heated playoff series. The Clippers have previously been cautious of over-extending stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George during the regular season, so there’s a chance they sit out Saturday’s game. Here’s the latest on their statuses

Kawhi Leonard, Paul George injury updates

Update: It looks like both Leonard and George will suit up against the Mavericks, as neither are on the injury report.

The Clippers don’t have to release an official injury report until 4 p.m. ET, so there’s going to be a bit of a waiting game to know exactly what these two are planning on doing. Given the history of injuries late in the season for Leonard and George, it does make sense for them to rest on back-to-back sets.

There has only been one back-to-back set for LA this season prior to Saturday’s contest. Technically, this is a nationally televised game so only one of them would be able to rest due to the NBA’s new rule on stars sitting games. So far, neither player has missed a game this season.
