The No. 5 Florida State Seminoles will visit the Florida Gators for their rivalry showdown at 7 p.m. ET tonight and will be without starting quarterback Jordan Travis. Travis suffered a gruesome leg injury against North Alabama last Saturday, ending both his season and career for the Seminoles. With Travis sidelined, backup Tate Rodemaker will get the start both tonight and next week’s ACC Championship Game against Louisville.

A redshirt junior from Valdosta, GA, Rodemaker is a veteran in his own right with this being his fourth year in the program. He’s gotten a handful of snaps while backing up Travis throughout his career and got thrown into the fire during last week’s game against North Alabama. He went 13-23 for 217 yards and two touchdowns after taking the reigns following Travis’ injury and he should be fine as long as he can the ball into the hands of FSU’s dangerous skill position weapons.

Florida State enters the game as a 6.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 49.
