Pregame update: Ladd McConkey was not spotted in pregame warmups for the Bulldogs.

The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs will visit the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets for Clean, Old Fashioned Hate at 7:30 p.m. ET tonight and wide receiver Ladd McConkey is considered questionable for the rivalry showdown. McConkey appeared in last week’s victory over Tennessee, but was ruled out in the second half due to a stiff back. Head coach Kirby Smart told the media earlier in the week that he felt good about the wideout being able to return for tonight’s game.

McConkey has been dealing with this back injury throughout the 2023 campaign and was sidelined for the first month of the season because of it. Through seven games, the junior from Chatsworth, GA, has registered 26 catches for 418 yards and two touchdowns. He could return for tonight’s rivalry game, but it wouldn’t be a shock if the UGA staff game him some more rest for next week’s SEC Championship Game against Alabama.

Georgia enters this contest as a heavy 24-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 60.
