We’ve only got four games on the main NBA DFS slate Saturday, which can make value plays harder to identify. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Collin Sexton, Jazz, $4,600
After five straight games with 22+ DKFP, Sexton had a big dud against the Trail Blazers with just 7.5 DKFP in 11 minutes. Look for the Jazz guard to get back to his regular workload Saturday against the Pelicans, who are coming off a hard-fought win Friday. New Orleans ranks 24th in fantasy points allowed to opposing guards, giving Sexton a chance to bounce back in DFS formats.
Christian Wood, Lakers, $5,000
The big man has been a hit-or-miss prospect in DFS. He’s averaging 17.2 DKFP, but has oscillated between going for big numbers and sub-10 DKFP showings. With Rui Hachimura sidelined, Wood should see more run against the Cavaliers Saturday. Cleveland is actually a league-average side here, ranking 17th in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers.
Saddiq Bey, Hawks, $4,700
Bey gets a great matchup when the Hawks faced the Wizards, who rank 29th in fantasy points allowed to power forwards this season. Washington is also coming off a game Friday, so there’s a fatigue factor as well. Bey had some bad games recently but has rounded into form again, averaging 27.56 DKFP per game over his last five. He’s worth rostering tonight.
