David Benavidez and Demetrius Andrade face off on Saturday, November 25 in a super middleweight title fight. We break down the purse for both fighters.

Boxing: Benavidez vs Plant Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The WBC interim super middleweight title will be on the line when champion David Benavidez (27-0, 23 KOs) takes on top contender Demetrius Andrade (32-0, 19 KOs) from the Michelob Ultra Light Arena on the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be the final broadcast for Showtime PPV boxing. The main card will begin at 8 p.m. ET.

The co-main event will feature the return of former WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs), who hasn’t fought since July 2021. He will face Jose Benavidez Jr. in a 10-round non-title fight.

The fight purse for the main event hasn’t been fully disclosed. It’s assumed Benavidez isn’t making much more guaranteed money than the $2 million he received to fight Caleb Plant in March.

Andrade’s last reported fight purse was between $1.5-2 million when he fought Jason Quigley in December 2021. His purse for his most recent fight against Demond Nicholson was not disclosed.

It’s likely both fighters will make around the $2 million guaranteed rate with bonuses depending on the PPV numbers that come from the broadcast. Benavidez will have the higher cut since he’s a slightly more established PPV draw. The cost for the fight is $74.99.

Benavidez is a -380 betting favorite at]DraftKings Sportsbook. Andrade is the underdog at +275 odds.
