Full undercard for David Benavidez vs. Demetrius Andrade super middleweight fight

We take a look at what to expect from the full card as David Benavidez faces Demetrius Andrade in a super middleweight bout on Saturday, November 25.

Boxing: Benavidez vs Plant Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The WBC interim super middleweight title will be on the line when champion David Benavidez (27-0, 23 KOs) takes on top contender Demetrius Andrade (32-0, 19 KOs) from the Michelob Ultra Light Arena on the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be the final broadcast for Showtime PPV boxing. The main card will begin at 8 p.m. ET.

Benavidez, a 26-year-old from Phoenix, Arizona is hoping to become the next great super middleweight. While he has not been successful in trying to get Canelo Alvarez to take a fight, Benavidez has taken on a role of fighting the toughest guys in the division that are often avoided. His unanimous decision win over Caleb Plant on March 25 ended a string a three-straight wins by knockout.

Andrade is arguably the most avoided middleweight in the world. He’s a crafty puncher that doesn’t necessarily have a fan-friendly style, but the 35-year-old from Providence, Rhode Island has been very effective. He defended the WBO middleweight title six times before making a move up in weight class to challenge for Benavidez’s title.

Benavidez is a -380 betting favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. Andrade is the underdog at +275 odds.
