Raheem Mostert start or sit: Week 12 fantasy football advice

We break down the fantasy football outlook of Raheem Mostert ahead of the Dolphins Week 12 matchup against the Jets.

With De’Von Achane’s availability in limbo, the Miami Dolphins will likely lean on Raheem Mostert to handle the rushing attack Friday against the New York Jets. Mostert was also limited at practice Tuesday, but he seems to be in a better position than Achane to play Friday.

Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert

It’s been over a month since Mostert had a 100-yard rushing game, but he has managed to find the end zone in three of the past five games. He isn’t doing as much in the receiving games as anticipated, but Mostert gets a solid share of carries.

Start or sit in Week 12 PPR leagues?

Start. Mostert’s speed makes him a big-play threat, just like Achane, so he should have a big day against a stout-but-tired Jets defense that does give up gains on the ground. With Salvon Ahmed on IR and De’Von Achane’s status in the air, Mostert is a must-start low-end RB1.

Start or sit in Week 12 standard leagues?

Start. With Mostert not doing much in the receiving game, his value in PPR and standard leagues doesn’t vary much. The larger the league the more likelihood Mostert is a weekly start.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Raheem Mostert

Mostert is considered a top-20 fantasy back this week, but Devin Singletary is putting up RB1 numbers this year and should have a chance for another nice game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Also, James Conner against the Los Angeles Rams is worth looking into.
