Top WR value plays for daily fantasy football in Week 12

We go over some of the best cheap options at WR for the main slate on DraftKings this Sunday.

The NFL season has been rolling along as we’re already to Week 12. This is the perfect spot in the season as it's starting to get tight in the playoff race. It’s Thanksgiving week, so we had four games before Sunday for the NFL. They added in the Black Friday game this year which is why we’re at four games ahead of Sunday. With the smaller Sunday slate, there are less options to choose from on DFS. Below we take a look at some of the top wide receiver value plays in DFS in Week 12.

NFL DFS Picks, Week 12: WR value plays

Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals, $4,900

It’s shocking seeing Johnson this low. But there is a new offensive coordinator in Pittsburgh now and I expect the offense to improve. Johnson had been killing it since returning from the IR, but the past two weeks have been very bad. He was wide open a lot on Sunday and Kenny Pickett missed him wide open multiple times. I think they fix that this week.

Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons, $4,300

Shaheed has been solid on fantasy this season. But I do think this is a breakout week for him. Michael Thomas was just placed on IR and Shaheed will have to take on a bigger role. His big play ability is encouraging and I think that he will have some on Sunday against a Falcons squad that has given up a number of big plays against the pass this season.

Rondale Moore, Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams, $3,600

It is shocking to me to see Moore at only $3,600 on DraftKings daily fantasy. He has been solid since Kyler Murray has returned and the previous weeks are why his earlier week numbers have weighed him down. Moore is Murray’s second favorite target and I expect him to have more success there in this matchup. The Rams have been good against the pass, but I think they have overachieved.
