Top QB value plays for daily fantasy football in Week 12

We go over some of the best cheap options at QB for the main slate on DraftKings this Sunday.

Week 12 is here for the NFL and it should be a fun week. The season has been cruising along as we’re much closer to the end than we are to the start. We saw four games take place before Sunday as there were three on Thanksgiving and one on Black Friday. That means there will not be as many options to choose from in DFS on Sunday. Below we take a look at the top quarterback value plays for DFS in Week 12.

NFL DFS Picks, Week 12: QB value plays

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Houston Texans, $6,400

Lawrence isn't the biggest value play, but his DFS cost is low compared to a lot of the other guys. Lawrence hasn't been great fantasy-wise this season, and that’s why we’re seeing him set at $6,400. However, I was impressed by what I saw from him in Week 11 and it seems that he is taking that step forward. He also has a great matchup this week as he is facing a Texans defense that is allowing 20.7 standard fantasy points per game which is the most in the NFL.

Jake Browning, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, $5,200

Browning was honestly impressive when he filled in for Joe Burrow on Thursday Night Football in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens. The pressure got to him a bit, but he was able to make some plays. I wouldn’t expect this Bengals team to force-feed Joe Mixon here. Zac Taylor loves going with an open offense and letting the quarterback sling it. He also faces a Steelers defense that has issues stopping the pass. Look for a solid showing from Browning here.

Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers vs. Tennessee Titans, $4,900

Things have not been going well for Young this season. However, it is not all about him. They have built an awful team around him and he’s been in a tough spot. I do think he will bounce back against a bad Titans passing defense this week. Later in the year, we always see high-scoring games in these matchups. Look for Young to use his legs and make some plays in this one.
