San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel will face off against the divisional rival Seattle Seahawks in Week 12. Samuel has had a solid season when on the field and has played great since returning from injury. His impact showed big time while he was out as they are 0-2 in the games he hasn't played in. Below we take a look at whether he should start or sit for this matchup.

Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers WR Deebo Samuel

Samuel has 27 receptions for 395 yards and one receiving touchdown on the season. He also has 22 carries for 123 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Samuel is not the best pure wide receiver on the team as Brandon Aiyuk is, however Samuel might be the best weapon. Between him and Christian McCaffrey, the 49ers have two of the biggest playmakers in the NFL.

Start or sit in Week 12 PPR leagues?

Samuel should start in all PPR fantasy leagues whether it’s 8-10 team leagues or 12-14 team leagues. He had a relatively quiet game last week, but still was able to finish with three receptions for 66 yards. I expect him to find the end zone this week. It is a divisional game against a team that they’re up just one game on in the division. Between him and McCaffrey, there should be a combined three touchdowns.

Start or sit in Week 12 standard leagues?

With his ability in the ground game, Samuel should be an easy start in all standard fantasy leagues. Samuel has played four games against the Seahawks in his career and has surpassed 100 receiving yards in three of the four games. In the game he didn’t, he had 53 rushing yards on top of five receptions for 44 yards. He also has scored three touchdowns against them in his career. This should be a breakout game for Samuel.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Deebo Samuel

On FantasyPros consensus rankings, Samuel is listed as the No. 24 wide receiver for fantasy. That is way too low. However, one guy listed around him that I would start over Samuel is Zay Flowers. I think this is Flowers’ best career game so far. The Los Angeles Chargers passing defense is the worst in the NFL. There is a good shot that Odell Beckham Jr. is out, so Flowers will be seeing a ton of targets.
