The Green Bay Packers will hit the road on a short week to face the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. Kickoff from Ford Field in Detroit, MI is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 23.

Looking within this NFC North matchup, we’ll break down the fantasy football prospects for Packers WR Romeo Doubs. Should you start him in Week 12?

Fantasy Football analysis: Packers WR Romeo Doubs

Doubs has 38 receptions on 65 targets for 396 yards and seven touchdowns across ten games this season. Those seven receiving TDs are tied for third-most in the NFL this season, only trailing Tyreek Hill (9) and Courtland Sutton (8) in that category.

While his yardage numbers haven’t been impressive with no more than 53 yards in the last five games, he has snagged a score in four of those five outings.

Start or sit in Week 12 PPR leagues?

Start. Doubs holds value as a WR3 in bigger leagues with 12+ teams.

You probably won’t need to start Doubs in smaller leagues with 10 or fewer teams, as there will likely be better options available. Still, if you are looking for a decent WR3/FLEX play in Week 12, then Doubs makes sense due to his touchdown upside.

Start or sit in Week 12 standard leagues?

Start. You could argue Doubs is a better play in standard leagues due to his TD potential.

The matchup at Detroit looks good too, as the Packers could be forced to throw the ball early and often. The Lions are in a tie for allowing the third-most touchdowns to opposing wide receivers at 12.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Romeo Doubs

In Week 12, I would look to start wide receivers like Jordan Addison, Amari Cooper, and Odell Beckham Jr. over Doubs.
