Jordan Love start or sit: Week 12 fantasy football advice

We break down the fantasy football outlook of Jordan Love ahead of the Packers Week 12 matchup against the Lions.

Last week, Jordan Love had his best game of the season in the Packers’ win over the Chargers. Here’s a look at if he holds any fantasy value this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Packers QB Jordan Love

Love burnt the Chargers for 322 yards and two touchdowns last week, a performance that served as his first career 300-yard passing performance along with being the Packers’ first 300-yard since Aaron Rodgers did it in 2021. Love gave the Packers the lead with a beautifully thrown ball to Romeo Doubs with just over two minutes remaining, and has now thrown four touchdown passes over the last two weeks.

Start or sit in Week 12 PPR leagues?

Start. I love this matchup against the Lions. The Packers are going to enter Thursday’s game against the Lions short-handed at running back (both Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon recorded injuries on Sunday), which should lead to Love and the Packers looking to the air early and often. While the Lions' defense is middle-of-the-pack when it comes to yardage allowed, they’ve given up 16 passing touchdowns this season and gave up one touchdown to the Bears through the air last week.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Jordan Love

FantasyPros has Love ranked as QB18 this week, where he’s between Matthew Stafford and Gardner Minshew. I’d start Love over both of them, but would also consider Baker Mayfield and Trevor Lawrence from this tier.
