Pick against the spread, over/under for Mavericks vs. Lakers on Wednesday, November 22

We go over some of the best betting options for Wednesday’s matchup between the Mavericks and Lakers.

The Dallas Mavericks (9-5) will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers (9-6) Wednesday evening in a battle of two teams looking to take the next step in the postseason. The Mavericks are hoping to snap a two-game losing streak, while the Lakers defeated the Jazz Tuesday to extend their winning run to three games.

The Mavericks are good to go on the injury front, with only Maxi Kleber sidelined for an extended time due to his toe issue. The Lakers haven’t released an official injury report but Anthony Davis and LeBron James are likely going to be on it with hip/groin and calf injuries, respectively.

The Mavericks are 3-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total coming in at 241. Dallas is -148 on the moneyline, while Los Angeles is +124.

Mavericks vs. Lakers, 10 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Mavericks -3

The reality is the Lakers simply haven’t been good when they don’t have the benefit of some rest. LA is 1-3 ATS with a rest disadvantage and 0-2 ATS with no rest. Dallas is 4-1 ATS as an away favorite and should be able to exploit LA’s fatigue on the second night of a back-to-back set. Even with Davis and James set to play this contest, the Mavericks should be able to snap their losing streak tonight.

Over/Under: Under 241

Dallas is one of the most over-friendly teams in the league, going 11-3 to the over so far this season. The Lakers are on the opposite end of the spectrum with a 5-10 mark to the over. In the four meetings between these sides a year ago, all went under this particular line. Take the under in what should be a more defensive game Wednesday evening.
