With the fantasy football playoffs quickly approaching, matchups matter more than ever when building your fantasy lineup. Here are three running backs with favorable matchups to consider this week.

Fantasy football, Week 12: Best RB Matchups

Jerome Ford vs. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have allowed a league-high 1,600 rushing yards this year and are coming off a game where they allowed 154 yards rushing to Vikings running backs Ty Chandler and Alexander Mattison. Ford had 31 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries last week against the Steelers vaunted defense and should get a strong bounce-back matchup against the Vikings in Week 12.

Jaylen Warren vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Warren rushed for 129 yards on just nine carries against the Browns last week, with a 79-yard touchdown run serving as the highlight. While he was still out-carried by Najee Harris (12 to 9), Warren’s clearly the better back, and should have a bigger role in Sunday’s must-win game.

Raheem Mostert vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Moster had 86 yards on 22 carries last week against the Raiders after rookie De’Vone Achane only recorded one carry before being held out due to injury concerns. Even if Achane comes back this week, Mostert’s still in line for a big week against the Raiders defense, which has allowed the third-highest rushing total in the NFL.
