Week 11 is in our rearview mirror and it was a good one for for quarterbacks playing the Titans, Buccaneers, Packers, Bengals and Commanders. The leading fantasy QB was Trevor Lawrence, who had been playing poorly of late. He had strong passing numbers, completing 75% of his passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns, but his two rushing touchdowns elevated him to the top of the fantasy heap.
QB news to monitor
Geno Smith has an elbow injury, but looks like he’ll be able to play if he doesn’t have any setbacks. Seattle plays on Thanksgiving against the 49ers.
Zach Wilson wasn’t injured, but he has been demoted to third string after relentless amounts of bad football. Tim Boyle will get the start against the Dolphins this Friday, while Trevor Siemian will be the backup.
Derek Carr and the Saints had a bye week, but Carr was still in concussion protocol on Monday. He could still be cleared before the Saints meet the Falcons on Sunday. If he can’t go, Jameis Winston would get the start.
Joe Burrow, as you know by now, is done for the season with a torn wrist tendon. Jake Browning will get the start this week against the Steelers.
