What to watch for on Monday Night Raw
- Last week’s episode of Raw ended with Drew McIntyre hitting Jey Uso with a Claymore Kick, costing him and Cody Rhodes their match for the tag titles. He then walked up the stage and shook hands with Rhea Ripley before the show went off the air. Ripley had been recruiting McIntyre for a potential alliance with the Judgement Day for weeks and he finally accepted. We’ll hear from the Scottish Warrior about his decision tonight.
- One member of the Judgement Day and one member of the Rhodes/Uso/Seth Rollins/Sami Zayn team will face each other to determine who gets the advantage for their WarGames match at Survivor Series.
- Becky Lynch will seek revenge when going one-on-one with Xia Li. This has been brewing for over a month when Li challenged Lynch when she still had the NXT Women’s Championship. Li then attacked Lynch before she could enter the No. 1 contender’s battle royal two weeks ago. This will be the start of a busy week for “Big Time Becks” as she will take part in the women’s WarGames match this Saturday.
- Shinsuke Nakamura will look to go 3-0 against the Alpha Academy when facing Chad Gable tonight.
- Raquel Rodriguez will face Nia Jax in a battle of powerhouses in the women’s division.
Predictions
- Along with revealing why he has linked up with the Judgement Day, I think Drew McIntyre gets added to the match. I think he’ll replace Damian Priest, leading to more tension within the group.
- The Judgement Day will win the WarGames advantage because its standard operating procedure for the heels to have the upperhand in the start of that match.
- Becky Lynch and Xia Li goes to a no contest due to Damage CTRL coming out to attack Lynch.
- Chad Gable picks up the victory over Nakamura, fueling his quest to get back to Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship/
