We go over some of the best betting options for Monday’s matchup between the Kings and Pelicans.

Thanksgiving week in the NBA will get underway tonight and the slate will feature the Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Pelicans playing the first of back-to-back matchups against each other. The game will tip off at 8 p.m. ET

Sacramento (8-4) has rattled off six straight victories heading into tonight’s game and is coming off a 129-113 win over Dallas last night. Domantas Sabonis led with 32 points and 13 rebounds as the Kings pulled away in the second half. Meanwhile, New Orleans (6-7) is coming off a close 121-120 loss to the Timberwolves on Saturday. The Pelicans squandered a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter and were clipped by a Karl-Anthony Towns floater with five seconds left.

On the injury front, CJ McCollum (collapsed lung) will miss tonight’s contest and there is still no timetable for his return. For the Kings, Kevin Huerter (finger) is questionable.

Sacramento enters as a slight one-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 236. The moneyline is a virtual pick ‘em with the Kings listed at -112 and the Pelicans listed at -108.

Kings vs. Pelicans, 8 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Pelicans +1

Sacramento is rolling, but will be playing its fifth game in the last seven days. Some fatigue is bound to set in and that bodes well for a New Orleans team that is 5-3 against the spread at home this season. Take the Pelicans to pick up the win and the cover tonight.

Over/Under: Over 236

Sacramento has scored at least 120 points in four straight games and even its production dips a bit tonight, I still expect a fairly high scoring affair this evening. I’ll lean towards the over barely cashing tonight.
