Monday Night Football betting splits

Eagles vs. Chiefs

Spread: Kansas City -3

Kansas City got the better of the Eagles in the Super Bowl but the public seems pretty split on if that’s going to happen again. As of Monday morning, Kansas City was hauling in 55% of the handle, but Philly was grabbing 54% of the total bets on the spread.

Over/Under: 45.5

This seems to be the one area where bettors agree on this game so far. The Super Bowl edition of this matchup yielded a total of 73 points, smashing the line in this game. Kansas City has been in a bit of an offensive funk, scoring just three touchdowns against the Dolphins and none against the Broncos before their Week 10 bye week.

Still, the public thinks the over is the play here, with 78% of the handle and 71% of the bets on the over.

Moneyline: Kansas City -148, Philadelphia +124

It seems like the public is going against the oddsmakers on this one. The Eagles are the road underdog, but as of Monday morning, the public expects Philly to come out with a win. In total, 55% of the handle and 63% of the overall bets are on Jalen Hurts and Co. to earn a victory in hostile territory on Monday night.
