The San Francisco 49ers held on to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11 of the NFL season. Second-year quarterback Brock Purdy came through with a solid performance in the win, piling up 333 passing yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions.

At DraftKings Sportsbook, Purdy is currently tied with his teammate, RB Christian McCaffrey, for the sixth-best odds to win the NFL MVP at +2000. Here are the players listed ahead of Purdy to win the award:

  • Patrick Mahomes (+280)
  • Jalen Hurts (+280)
  • Lamar Jackson (+330)
  • Tua Tagovailoa (+500)
  • CJ Stroud (+1800)

Heading into Week 11, Purdy already led the league in passer rating at 109.9 while averaging 258.8 passing yards per contest and 17 touchdowns with 5 interceptions across nine games. That’s comparable to Mahomes, who is co-favorite to win the award, as the Chiefs QB heads into Week 11 with a 271.3 passing yard per game average to go along with 17 pass touchdowns, eight interceptions, and a 96.7 passer rating in nine games.

Purdy’s impeccable stat line of 333 yards, three scores, and no interceptions to go along with a game passer rating of 158.3 will boost those seasonal numbers, and perhaps marginally improve his odds to win NFL MVP.
