Tua Tagovailoa is one of the NFL’s top contenders to win MVP this season, and he led his team to yet another win this week, beating the Raiders 20-13 to move to 7-3 for the season. It wasn’t his best performance of the season, but Tagovailoa had two passing touchdowns in the win. He finished the day 28-for-39 for 325 yards, and threw one interception, as well. It may not have been an enormous boost for his MVP chances, but it certainly didn’t hurt.
Tagovailoa entered the week at +500 to win MVP at DraftKings Sportsbook, and that number has not changed following the game. So far this season, Tagovailoa has passed for 2,934 yards, 21 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. The Dolphins lead the league in points scored per game, and Tagovailoa averages 8.5 yards per pass thrown, putting him second in the league.
Several other top QBs remain in contention, including Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes. Tagovailoa and the Dolphins take on the New York Jets in Week 12 before heading to Washington to face the Commanders in Week 13.
