The Carolina Panthers are coming off a tough 16-13 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 10, though Jonathan Mingo had a decent performance which bodes well for the rookie. He saw the second-most targets on the team as DJ Chark was sidelined with an injury, but will he be worth a start in Week 11 against the Cowboys?
Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers WR Jonathan Mingo
Mingo saw seven targets on the day but only caught three of them for just 20 yards. It wasn’t his best performance, but he still brought in 5.0 fantasy points in PPR leagues which isn’t bad for the 22-year-old as he looks to carve out a spot for himself in the Panthers’ passing game.
Start or sit in Week 11 PPR leagues?
Sit. Although he saw a decent amount of targets in Week 10, it’s not enough to warrant a starting spot in your fantasy lineup by any means. He would be a decent choice to pick up and stash on your bench, though, as the Panthers will be going up against the Titans and Buccaneers after the Cowboys. But for Week 11, avoid putting Mingo in your starting lineup.
Start or sit in Week 11 standard leagues?
Sit. Even in deeper leagues and standard scoring, Mingo should be left out of the lineup but he still would likely be a good candidate to stick on your bench for upcoming weeks.
Player(s) you would start ahead of Jonathan Mingo
Mingo is ranked the WR53 at FantasyPros ahead of Week 11, which gives you plenty of options to pick from when looking at the list that would be better starters. In a similar tier, Christian Watson or Jayden Reed might be better options than Mingo if you’re hard up for a lower-ranked receiver to put in your lineup this week.
