The Carolina Panthers are coming off a 16-13 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 10 as Chuba Hubbard’s workload got cut roughly in half from previous weeks. It was their second loss in a row as they look to bounce back against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11 action. Let’s take a look at Hubbard’s fantasy outlook ahead of the matchup.
Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard
Hubbard only saw nine carries last week, totaling just 23 yards on the day. He added another 16 yards by catching both of his targets, but it was a relatively quiet day as he brought in just 5.9 fantasy points in PPR leagues. He only played 50% of snaps, which is his lowest snap share since Week 5.
Start or sit in Week 11 PPR leagues?
Sit. Hubbard should be a fairly solid RB3/FLEX play this week, especially in deeper leagues, so if you’re looking at 12-14 teams in your league then he should be a nice pickup. If you’re in a smaller league you’ll likely have better options at FLEX anyway, so avoid him in 8-10 team leagues.
Start or sit in Week 11 standard leagues?
Sit. Hubbard’s point total from last week in standard leagues was just 3.9, but he’s topped out at 15 once back in Week 6. He’s probably not worth a start in your lineup, unless of course you’re in a deeper league and there aren’t a whole lot of running back options on waivers.
Player(s) you would start ahead of Chuba Hubbard
Chuba comes in as the RB31 in FantasyPros’ PPR rankings ahead of Week 11, but if you’re looking for another option to start ahead of him while sticking in his same tier, you can look just above him at Gus Edwards or Keaton Mitchell for decent options.
