Evan Engram start or sit: Week 11 fantasy football advice

We break down the fantasy football outlook of Evan Engram ahead of the Titans Week 11 matchup against the Jaguars.

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram will face off with the Tennessee Titans in Week 11. Engram has found a strong role with the Jaguars over the past two seasons. Trevor Lawrence has enjoyed having the athletic tight end to get the ball to. He’s been one of their top targets in the passing game all season.

Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars TE Evan Engram

Engram has 55 receptions for 446 yards. Surprisingly, he’s yet to find himself in the end zone. He is coming off the worst game of his season as he caught four passes for just 12 yards. It’s surprising to see tight end average three yards per catch, but makes a little more sense when you think about who they faced.

Start or sit in Week 11 PPR leagues?

Engram should sit in all fantasy leagues this week. He is facing a Titans defense that has done well limiting tight ends this season. They’re allowing 5.3 standard fantasy points to tight ends per game which is impressive. As much as I like the passing game for Jacksonville this week, I don't think their tight end has a major impact.

Start or sit in Week 11 standard leagues?

Engram should not start in standard leagues either. PPR he can be considered a bit, but still should not start. There should be no reason in standard however. He’s yet to score a touchdown this season. Engram has been a streaky player through his career and struggled last week. I expect more of the same in Week 11.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Evan Engram

Engram is listed as the No. 9 tight end on FantasyPros fantasy rankings for Week 11. A player ranked near him that I would start over him is Cole Kmet. We have seen a major role for Kmet this season and Fields back might mean the Chicago Bears throwing the football more.
