The Commonwealth Cup will be on the line when the Virginia Tech Hokies travel to Scott Stadium to take on the Virginia Cavaliers. Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, November 25. Virginia Tech holds a 60-38-5 edge in the overall series and have won 17 of the past 18 games. This is the first time the teams will be playing in two years after the 2022 game was canceled because of the UVA campus shooting.
Virginia Tech (5-6, 4-3 ACC) wasn’t able to get to bowl eligibility on Saturday, falling to NC State in a dissapointing home loss. The Hokies were outscored 35-14 in the second and third quarters and could not climb out of that hole for the rest of the afternoon.
Virginia (3-8, 2-5 ACC) was victorious on Saturday, holding off Duke in a 30-27 win. Anthony Colandrea was excellent for the Hoos in the contest, going 21-30 for 278 yards and three touchdowns while leading the team in rushing with 66 yards on the ground.
While the odds below aren’t official and do not come from DraftKings Sportsbook, they’re our best guess here at DK Network as to where the line should open across the market.
