Kentucky vs. Louisville odds heading into game week

The Governor’s Cup is once again on the line with the Wildcats visiting the Cardinals.

NCAA Football: Louisville at Miami Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

The Governor’s Cup is set for next Saturday when the Kentucky Wildcats take on the Louisville Cardinals at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. It’s just the 35th annual meeting between the schools with Kentucky holding a 19-15 edge. The Wildcats have won four straight including a 25-13 victory last year in Lexington.

Kentucky (6-5, 3-5 SEC) took a fifth loss in six games on Saturday, falling to South Carolina 17-14 on Saturday. The offense sputtered throughout the entire contest as Devin Leary threw for just 171 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Louisville (10-1, 7-1 ACC) earned a 38-31 road win over the Miami Hurricanes to clinch a spot in the ACC Championship Game against the Florida State Seminoles. Quarterback Jack Plummer threw for 308 yards and three touchdowns including a 58-yard game winner to Kevin Coleman. Cardinals running back Isaac Guerendo had 93 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.

While the odds below aren’t official and do not come from DraftKings Sportsbook, they’re our best guess here at DK Network as to where the line should open across the market.
