The 67th edition of the Sunshine Showdown will take place next Saturday as the Florida State Seminoles head to the Swamp to battle the Florida Gators. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN.
Florida State (11-0, 8-0 ACC) crushed North Alabama 58-13 on Saturday, but took a devastating blow with Jordan Travis suffering a gruesome leg injury in the first half. Backup Tate Rodemaker stepped up in his place, going 13-23 for 217 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Florida (5-6, 3-5 SEC) has cratered with four consecutive losses and took a brutal 33-31 loss to Missouri on Friday. With the lead inside the final two minutes of action, the Gators allowed Brady Cook to march the Tigers down the field and set Harrison Mervis up for a game-winning field goal in the final seconds.
