After getting off to a hot start, the Golden State Warriors have lost five in a row and are hoping to turn things around against the Oklahoma City Thunder Saturday. The Warriors lost to the Thunder Thursday, but that game did not feature Stephen Curry or Draymond Green. The forward is still suspended, but Curry is dealing with a knee injury. Here’s the latest on his status for Saturday’s contest.
Stephen Curry injury updates
The MRI on Curry’s knee showed no significant ligament damage, and the Warriors did not expect him to miss much time. The point guard is officially listed as questionable for this game, and Golden State would hope to have him back to snap this losing streak. We’ll see if Curry is able to suit up after missing the last two games.
If Curry is unable to play, Chris Paul and Brandin Podziemski will be the point guard options for head coach Steve Kerr to use. Klay Thompson would see additional usage in this scenario as well, although the shooting guard has been cold to start the season.
