The Duke Blue Devils will hit the road for an ACC matchup against the Virginia Cavaliers this afternoon at 3 p.m. ET and freshman Grayson Loftis is expected to once again get the start at quarterback. Loftis has started the previous two games for the Blue Devils in place of injured starter Riley Leonard and injured backup Henry Belin IV.

After a middling debut performance against Wake Forest two weeks ago, Loftis showed potential glimpses of the future in last week’s wild 47-45 double overtime loss to North Carolina. He went 16-28 for 189 yards with three touchdowns, the third one being a clutch 30-yarder to Jordan Moore that briefly gave Duke the lead with 41 seconds left. The Gaffney, SC, native has been called into action with Leonard out indefinitely with a toe injury and Belin dealing with an upper body injury.

Duke enters this game as a three-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. The total is listed at 45.5.
