The Miami Heat (8-4) will look to extend their seven-game winning streak Saturday evening when they meet the Chicago Bulls (4-9) in the Windy City. The Bulls are coming off a loss Friday evening, their third in a row.
Tyler Herro remains out for Miami, but everyone else in the rotation should be good to go. The Bulls won’t release their official injury report until later this afternoon, so we’ll see if they rest anyone on the second night of a back-to-back. DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine are potential rest candidates, with the latter playing through some knee issues.
The Heat are 2.5-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total coming in at 213. Miami is -142 on the moneyline while Chicago is +120.
Heat vs. Bulls, 8 p.m. ET
Pick ATS: Heat -2.5
Neither team has been particularly good when it comes to the spread this season. Miami is 5-7 ATS while Chicago is 4-8-1, but the Heat have a good chance of winning this game given their current form. Meanwhile, the Bulls continue to struggle as tension builds in the locker room and trade rumors fly around. Take the Heat to have a dominant showing over the Bulls, who are playing on the second night of a back-to-back set.
Over/Under: Under 213
Chicago is 6-7 to the over this season, while Miami is 5-7. The Heat rank 11th in defensive rating, while the Bulls check in at 16th. Neither team is great offensively, with Miami sitting at 22nd in points per game and Chicago coming in at 29th. This is a low total, but these teams have been so poor offensively and good enough defensively to hold each other in check. Take the under for this contest.
