We’ve got six games on Saturday’s NBA slate, which means there aren’t as many opportunities for bettors when it comes to player props. However, there’s still some exciting matchups on tap where there are some good props to back. Here’s a few of our favorites for the day’s action, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Anthony Edwards over 26.5 points vs. Pelicans (-105)
After averaging 28.4 points per game on 48.7% shooting in the first nine games of the season, Edwards has struggled in his last two with 16.5 points per game on 34.4% shooting. The Timberwolves star has a great chance to get right Saturday in a matchup with the Pelicans, who are allowing 115.2 points per game on the season. New Orleans is also on the second night of a back-to-back set, which could mean some tired legs on defense and easier opportunities for Edwards to score.
Desmond Bane over 3.5 3-pointers vs. Spurs (-125)
Bane has actually not been as efficient from deep this season, shooting 35.2% through 11 games. He’s only gone over this mark four times in that span, but he’s hit at least three triples in eight games. The Spurs are about as bad as the Grizzlies at defending the perimeter, ranking 29th in opponent threes made and opponent three-point percentage. Look for Bane to can at least four from deep in this game.
Jalen Brunson over 5.5 assists vs. Hornets (+100)
This is tremendous value. Brunson has gone over this line the last two games, and has dished at least five assists in seven out of 12 games. The Hornets are coming off a rough showing Friday and rank 28th in assists allowed to opponents, making this a highly favorable matchup for the Knicks point guard. At plus money, this is too good to pass up.
