Breaking down the top 32 D/ST in Week 8 fantasy football rankings

We take a look at Week 8 D/ST rankings for fantasy football leagues. We’ll break down notable injury news, streaming options, and more before unveiling our full rankings.

Week 7 is in the books, so let’s take a look at the quarterbacks who led their teams to give up a bunch of D/ST fantasy points. Brian Hoyer, Sam Howell, Gardner Minshew, Tua Tagovailoa, Jared Goff, Jalen Hurts, and Baker Mayfield all had D/STs top 10 fantasy points against their teams. The Ravens and Eagles D/STs faced down better QBs than the others, and should remain as strong plays in most matchups.

We’ll always see a mixture of strong, consistent defenses and great matchups putting up numbers. This week the Ravens get Joshua Dobbs and the Cardinals, which looks great on paper. The Bills get Baker Mayfield, who has played well, but is still a player you can target. The Eagles face the often-sacked Sam Howell and the Dolphins face Mac Jones. There are plenty of good D/ST matchups as usual.

Streaming option for Week 8

The Los Angeles Chargers take on rookie QB Tyson Bagent who looked decent in his first game, but also wasn’t asked to do much. If the Chargers can put up points like they should, Bagent will be asked to do more than he did in his first game, which could spell trouble.
