Quarterbacks to stream in fantasy football for Week 8

Henry Palattella goes over their favorite QB streamers for Week 8.

While there are no teams on a bye in Week 8, there’s still a fair bit of uncertainty at the quarterback position across the NFL. Will Jimmy Garoppolo be back from injury? What about Justin Fields? Who’s starting for the Titans? If you’re asking yourself one of those questions, here are some quarterbacks to consider streaming this week.

Fantasy football QB streamers for Week 8

Desmond Ridder, Falcons vs. Titans

Rostership: Yahoo 14%, ESPN 6%

Ridder has some clear holes in his game, but he still holds some value when it comes to fantasy. He’s had a rushing touchdown in two of his last three games (and would have added a second rushing touchdown last week had he held onto the ball at the goal line), and has a talented group of receivers, even if they’re not used the right way. He’s the ultimate boom-or-bust play.

Jordan Love, Packers vs. Vikings

Rostership: Yahoo 74%, ESPN 76%

We suggested Love here last week and he went out and put together a two-touchdown performance worth 16.3 fantasy points. He gets a solid matchup against a leaky Vikings defense but also has a lot of pressure on his shoulders after struggling in back-to-back weeks.

Kenny Pickett, Steelers vs Jaguars

Rostership: Yahoo 20%, ESPN 18%

I know I know, we’re picking a quarterback who’s thrown one touchdown pass in the last three weeks. But Pickett has quietly been playing solid as of late (he threw for 230 yards and added a touchdown on the ground last week), and has a solid matchup against the Jaguars this week. Jacksonville has the worst passing defense in the NFL, and I like Pitckett to finally find the end zone through the air.
