Friday update: Dell has been a full participant in practice all week and is no longer on the injury report. He will play against the Panthers this Sunday.

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell returned to practice as a full participant on Monday ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday.

Dell exited their Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons with a concussion and ended up missing the following Sunday’s’s game against the New Orleans Saints. With the team off on a bye this past week, that allowed enough time for the rookie to clear concussion protocol and return to practice.

Fantasy football implications for Week 8

Barring a sudden setback, Dell should be good to go to play this Sunday. The speedy rookie wideout out of Houston had made a big contribution to the team prior to his concussion, hauling in 19 of 28 targets for 324 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He’s averaged 12.9 fantasy points per game in PPR leagues and should remain a strong Flex option moving forward.
