NXT Worlds Collide 2022: Final results from PPV at WWE Performance Center

NXT returned to pay-per-view on Sunday with Worlds Collide coming from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

This show will marked the final event for the NXT UK brand as the company decided to put the show on hiatus in preparation for the launch of NXT Europe in 2023. As a result, the show will feature a handful of title unification matches. The main event saw NXT Champion Bron Breakker defeat NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate to unify the world titles

Here are the final results from the show:

NXT/NXT UK Championship unification - Bron Breakker vs. Tyler Bate

Winner: Bron Breakker

This was a worthy main event with several near falls, including Bate hitting the Tyle Drive 97. However, Breakker hit the spear and was able to put Bate down to unify the NXT and NXT UK world titles.

NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship - Katana Chance/Kayden Carter (c) vs. Nikki A.S.H./Doudrop

Winner: Chance/Carter

The NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions successfully retained their belts against Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop. The match ended when Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne came out to attack A.S.H., leaving Doudrop to eat the pin the ring.

NXT/NXT UK Women’s Championship unification - Mandy Rose vs. Meiko Satomura vs. Blair Davenport

Winner: Mandy Rose

The reign of Mandy Rose continues as she is now the unified women’s champion in NXT. The leader of Toxic Attraction emerged victorious from the competitive bout and pinned Blair Davenport to unify the titles. This officially ends Satomura’s over 400 day run as the UK champ.

NXT/NXT UK Tag Team Championship unification - The Creed Brothers vs. Josh Briggs/Brooks Jensen vs. Gallus vs. Pretty Deadly (Fatal Four-Way elimination match)

Winner: Pretty Deadly

In the first title unification match of the night, Pretty Deadly are your new NXT unified Tag Team Champions. The match ended when Damon Kemp turned on his Diamond Mine teammates by attacking Julius Creed with a steel chair, setting up Pretty Deadly for the win.

North American Championship - Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Ricochet

Winner: Carmelo Hayes

This was a fun opener, giving us a mix of athleticism and physicality between the two guys. The match ended when Hayes rolled out of the way of a shooting star press and rolled Rick O’Shea up for the win.
