Dustin Johnson won the fourth LIV Golf event today after a three-way tie for first forced a playoff in which Johnson, Joaquin Niemann, and Anirban Lahiri replayed the 18th hole until a winner emerged. Johnson finished at 15 under par, and was the favorite to win the tournament before they teed off on Friday per DraftKings Sportsbook.
The invitational took place on the Oaks Course at the International Golf Club in Boston, Massachusetts. It began on Friday, September 2, and the golfers competed over 54 holes for a total individual prize pool of $20 million and an additional team prize pool of $5 million.
The Four Aces team, made up of Johnson, Talor Gooch, Pat Perez, and Patrick Reed came out on top with a combined score of 32 under par.
