Head coach Todd Bowles says Bucs C Ryan Jensen to miss ‘several months’

We break down the news that the Buccaneers center will miss a couple months and how it might impact fantasy football.

Update: Head coach Todd Bowles told reporters on Friday that Jensen has a “significant” injury and that he could miss “several months,” per Greg Auman. He still has some hope for a late season return, but they still don’t know the exact extent of the injury.


Update: The fear is that Bucs center Ryan Jensen suffered a serious knee injury during practice on Thursday, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.


Update: We don’t have any concrete news as of yet, but Bucs GM Jason Licht told reporters that he “feels terrible” for Jensen, but they wont know a complete diagnosis until the swelling goes down, per Rick Stroud.


Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen was forced to leave training camp on Thursday due to a knee injury. The Pro Bowl center was carted off the field, per Jenna Laine.

Right now this doesn’t appear to be an injury the team is just being overly cautious about. Head coach Todd Bowles confirmed it was a knee injury. Jensen slammed his helmet down after the injury and was undoubtedly concerned.
