Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, is returning to his active role with the WWE as the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, per the WWE’s official Twitter account.

It has been quite the year for Levesque. Last September, he suffered a cardiac event that put him in the hospital. It was labeled a “genetic heart issue,” and he was luckily able to make a full recovery. This event caused him to announce his retirement from the ring in March of this year. He then introduced the second night of this year’s Wrestlemania Premium Live Event as the Chief Operating Officer of the company.

Levesque spent two years as the Executive Vice President for Global Talent Strategy & Development starting in 2020. He is also credited with starting the NXT brand that has been used as a developmental territory for the WWE and is now considered their third brand. Levesque has served in a talent relations role with the company since 2011. This, of course, was along with his esteemed 20-year wrestling career.
